While Carr has played at an improved level in 2020, it’s still a Raiders offense that goes through running back Josh Jacobs. That’ll work in contrast with the Chargers, who depend on Rookie of the Year favorite Herbert to sling the ball all over the field. It’ll be a great stage for Herbert to show off just how strong his arm is and cement his ROY case.

Below is more about the Week 15 “Thursday Night Football” matchup and how to watch it.

Who plays on Thursday Night Football tonight?

Matchup: Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders Location: Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada

Thursday Night Football continues to be simulcast on Fox and the NFL Network after NFL Network had exclusive TV rights to the games prior to Week 5. No matter which channel you choose, you’ll be listening to Joe Buck (play-by-play) and Troy Aikman (color).

When these teams met earlier in the season, Carr and the Raiders pulled out a 31-26 win as part of the Chargers’ string of close losses and unprotected leads. The Raiders relied on a two-pronged rushing attack in that one, with both Jacobs and Devontae Booker rushing for scores.

Herbert threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns in that first meeting, suggesting more aerial success to come Thursday night.
