The men had control of the roses this week on BiP, meaning that the women had to find a man who was willing to keep her in. For one Bachelor in Paradise contestant, that plan backfired spectacularly, leaving her choosing to eliminate herself from the ABC show.

After that, the show gave us our first rose ceremony of the season, which spelled doom for three more women’s time on the show.

Who went home on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, Episode 2?

The first person to leave the show was 28-year-old Victoria Paul from Peter’s season of The Bachelor. She was eliminated, however, but decided to leave after her motivations for being on the show were questioned.

After she hinted to a number of contestants that she was only stringing James Bonsall along for a rose so she could stay in the competition, and forgot his name a few times, James found out. A number of other islanders also claimed that she had a boyfriend at home.

After both James and the rest of the cast asked her straight out whether she was already taken, she decided to leave the competition. In doing that, she seemed to admit that she may have a boyfriend, saying in a confessional, “I realized I don’t have to search for what I already have at home.”

With Victoria out, there is a big question mark over who James will pick in the rose ceremony—and of course, the show makes him go last for ultimate tension.

In the rose ceremony, the following men give roses to the following women:

Ivan Hall to Jessenia CruzNoah Erb to Abigail HeringerJoe Amabile to Serena PittConnor Brennan to Maurissa GunnTre Cooper to Tahzjuan HawkinsKarl Smith to Deandra KanuBrendan Morais to Natasha ParkerAaron Clancy to Tammy LyKenny Braasch to Mari Pepin

That left just James to give out his rose. Despite Kelsey Weier seeming to nearly faint in the line-up, this was not enough to get a sympathy rose from James. Instead, he chose Demi Burnett to give his rose to.

That left three contestants eliminated: Kelsey Weier, Serena Chew and Victoria Larson.

Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on ABC, and Tuesdays at 5 a.m. ET on Hulu.
